The Role and Required Experience
Previous experience working in busy and good-quality restaurants is essential. The ideal candidate would preferably have experience in hatted or Michelin-starred establishments, although it’s not essential. You should be someone who consistently maintains composure under any circumstances and naturally excels at motivating others.
- Ideally, you’ll have at least 2-3 years of experience at a Chef De Partie level.
- Good cooking skills, work clean and able to perform under pressure.
- A chef who is always on the ball and a forward thinker.
- Can create a calm and collaborative energy with their staff and calm in stressful situations.
The Salary and Hours
The salary is $70-75K + Super. Expected working hours are up to 42 per week.
