The Role
You’ll be someone who thrives on large-scale operations. Experience working in a high-volume quality cocktail bar is essential. Whiskey knowledge is a bonus. You’ll not only be responsible for the day-to-day running of the bar, but also back-of-house duties, such as reporting on profit and loss, KPI targets to achieve, budgeting and forecasting, stocktaking, rostering, ordering, training and development, masterclasses, etc.

This is a late night venue, so someone that is comfortable with finishing up later than most is needed. You will work alongside an operations manager and bar managers who will share closing duties with you, ensuring a balanced workload across the team and providing you with opportunities to finish your shifts earlier than usual.
The Required Experience
Previous strong experience as a bar manager, with high-level spirit knowledge and strong cocktail knowledge. We are looking for someone who is well-groomed and thrives in the social dynamics of hospitality. Our venue offers a premium, fun, and professional setting, ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced and engaging approach to work.
The right candidate will have strength in personality, confident running a large bar, organised, plus a dynamic presence that can deal with all situations.
A strong financial acumen is needed, as you will be reporting on p&l’s, setting budgets and will have KPI targets to achieve.
The Rewards
As a guideline, the salary for this position can reach up to $95,000, depending on experience, and includes tips and super. The typical workweek is approximately 45 hours.
