If you’re a dedicated and seasoned Sous Chef seeking a creative position that supports work/life balance, this is it! You’ll have the chance to contribute creatively and oversee a small team, backed by the strong support of a creative and experienced owner and chef.

This is a popular wine bar/restaurant venue where people are wined and dined, enjoying some of the best wines in Australia with food to match!

The Kitchen

There is a fully equipped commercial kitchen tailored to the delivery of a fine dining experience.  Big focus on working with local suppliers to make sure everything is sourced locally and using nothing but Australian produce. Sustainability and cutting down on waste are a big focus.

The Role

The client is looking for someone coming from a technical background moving up the ranks as a Sous or Jr Sous in a fine dining background with hatted or Michelin experience and the ability to lead and inspire a small team of 6 chefs.

What the client is looking for:

  • Hatted or Michelin experience.
  • Someone who has a drive for excellence and wants to push the boundaries with cooking amazing, local produce.
  • Good mentor or guidance with their team.
  • Problem solver and dynamic.

On Offer

*Salary of up to $80K+S + great tips, roughly 42-44 hours a week, central location and near public transport.
