The Company

Located in the Inner West, this venue is a standalone restaurant business as part of a large organization. A hands-on role for an Asst. Venue Manager in a well-established company who cares about your career progression and offers a great work-life balance. This is an opportunity to join a large, structured organization with successful venues. The venue boasts city views with a well-orchestrated food menu and quality offering, which includes dishes made in the venue’s wood-fire oven! There’s a premium beverage offer with a fully decked out bar offering signature cocktails and boasting a range of Australian and European wines.

The Role

An exciting and hands-on role to run the high volume rooftop cocktail bar and restaurant within the establishment. A busy, big capacity venue that is extremely welcomed and well received by the community. You can get creative and pitch new ideas to the Venue Manager and be involved into something super exciting for Summer. They are looking for someone who is front of house focused with strong service skills and has cocktail and wine knowledge.

You will be responsible for driving great team morale, boosting staff performance whilst also focusing on delivering exceptional service. The venue is already up and running but needs someone to come in and take hold of the reins to continue steering this incredible, sophisticated and sexy venue. There is an event element of the role but experience isn’t a necessity.

The Opportunity and Perks

For strong hospitality leaders, we are exploring a range of salaries up to the $85K+Tips+Super mark. This role would be suitable for a Restaurant Manager or someone who is fed up of 6am nightclub finishes.

There’s a 5-week annual leave package, 40-42 max hours to work per week. Providing free parking, a free gym, free business suit, free meals and more. Hours are 4 x 10 hour shifts with 3 days off. You will be working alongside the Venue Manager and managing front line staff from day to day.
