Our client is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead the floor at one of the Gold Coast’s most exciting and fast-paced dining destinations.

We’re looking for a hands-on operator who thrives in the middle of service, driving energy, leading from the front and creating exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced premium-casual environment.

The venue is large, vibrant, design-led and built around high-energy service, strong culture and the guest experience.  Part of a large hospitality group who pride themselves on contemporary spaces and product-driven F&B.

You’ll take full ownership of the floor, leading and inspiring a high-performing team while ensuring exceptional service standards, seamless operations, and an energetic atmosphere are consistently delivered.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading from the floor during busy service periods
  • Driving team culture, accountability, and performance daily
  • Creating a seamless, engaging guest experience from open to close
  • Managing service flow, bookings, waitlists, and floor operations in real time
  • Coaching and developing the team through presence and leadership
  • Working closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth execution
  • Influencing revenue through upselling, guest engagement, and service behaviour
  • Maintaining a polished, energetic venue atmosphere at all times

About You

You’re a confident and visible hospitality leader who brings energy, composure, and presence to every shift.

You likely come from:

  • Premium or premium-casual restaurants 
  • High-volume environments with elevated service standards
  • Strong hospitality groups or highly regarded independent venues

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience leading large teams in fast-paced service environments
  • Strong operational and floor management capability
  • A guest-first mindset with exceptional people skills
  • Natural leadership and the ability to motivate teams under pressure
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how service drives revenue
  • High standards, positive energy, and a calm approach during busy periods
  • Beverage and wine knowledge
