- Premium Sydney CBD venue group
- Own MICE & groups sales portfolio
- Warm accounts, strong team support
This role is worth a look — here’s why.
You may be a MICE or venue sales professional ready to step into a role with greater ownership, or an experienced BDM looking for a stronger product, better support and more opportunity. Either way, if you know the groups and conference market and have a reputation for delivering results, we’d love to speak with you.
This opportunity sits within a premium Sydney venue group, managing MICE and group business across two well-known CBD properties. You’ll inherit a warm database, represent a high-quality product and be backed by an experienced and supportive sales team. With plenty of scope to grow key accounts, build long-term relationships and drive new business, this is a role where you can genuinely make your mark.
What your background probably looks like
You have two or more years in events or venue sales with exposure to the MICE or conference market. You have dealt with PCOs or corporate clients directly, you understand the sales cycle from enquiry through to signed contract, and clients like dealing with you. You follow up, you are organised and you take your pipeline seriously.
If you’re an experienced BDM considering your next move, we’d welcome a conversation. What matters most is a strong sales track record, credibility in the industry and a reputation for building lasting client relationships.
Not from a venue? You are still welcome here.
If you have been working on the PCO side, in a corporate in-house events team, or at an event company with a conference and groups division, please do apply. If you understand how events get bought and sold and you are ready to move into a dedicated sales role, this is genuinely worth a conversation. The right attitude and a clean reputation in the industry matter just as much as where you have come from.
What the role involves
Managing and growing a portfolio of MICE and groups accounts. Working proposals, following up on quotes, running site inspections and getting in front of clients regularly. Reporting to the Director of Sales with the support of an experienced team around you.
Opportunities like this are rare within a venue group of this calibre.
If you’re looking for a quality MICE sales role with a premium product, established client base and genuine career growth, we’d love to have a confidential conversation.
