The Venue
Known for its sharp service, returning regulars, and fresh modern Australian menu, it’s a true Sydney favourite. Now, the team is searching for a skilled Senior Assistant Restaurant Manager who’s ready to take the next step to lead the floor, build structure, and drive service quality.
You’ll be joining a well-established venue where your leadership will have real impact. You’ll have the full support of the GM and a capable admin and kitchen team.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take charge of the floor, leading each service with steady focus and clear direction. This is a hands-on role where you’ll actively guide your team, keep service on track, and ensure every shift runs smoothly. From opening to close, you’ll set the tone, stay aware of the room, and make sure every detail is handled.
You’ll be across every table touchpoint, drive upselling and wine engagement, and mentor new hires through consistent training and positive reinforcement. You’ll work closely with the GM on operations, culture, and team performance bringing ideas, solving problems, and elevating standards across the board.
Must-Haves
To succeed in this role, you’ll need at least two years’ experience as a 2IC or Assistant Manager in a high-volume, quality venue. You should be confident managing services of 200+ covers and leading the floor with clear direction. Wine knowledge—especially of Australian varietals—is a plus and should be used to improve both guest experience and team capability.
You’ll need a composed, organised floor style and a genuine drive to support culture and build people up. We want someone who owns their role, supports their team, and is proud to lead by example.

- Up to $90,000 plus super
