  • High-energy, hands-on team backed by supportive, present leadership

Perfect for a seasoned Assistant Manager or Senior Supervisor looking to step into a bigger role.

Some Restaurants Are Just Built Differently. You know the vibe. The doors open and it’s showtime. Music in the background, the scent of chargrilled meats in the air, laughter bouncing off the walls, and a team moving in sync. This isn’t just service; it’s a performance.

This venue has been delivering this magic for nearly two decades. It’s not your average restaurant. It’s a high-volume, fast-turnover, high-reward type of place that somehow manages to still feel like family. It’s where careers are made, people grow, and guests come back again and again for the buzz, the warmth, and the unforgettable experience.

And now, they’re looking for a Restaurant Manager. Not someone chained to a clipboard, but a leader from the floor—someone who thrives in the middle of it all.

The Opportunity: A Step Up That Matters. If you’re an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager who’s been craving more responsibility, autonomy, and a chance to truly lead, this is your opening.

You’ll be taking on a full Restaurant Manager role, leading a team of meat runners, waitstaff, bartenders, and fellow supervisors. The owners and leadership team are right there with you—not hidden away, but on the floor with sleeves rolled up, working side by side. Genuine support, no egos.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading from the front. Service is fast and theatrical. You’ll keep the tempo high and the team sharp.
  • Overseeing busy sittings. 320 covers per seating, double sittings on weekends—yep, it’s full-on. But structured, well-drilled, and supported.
  • Running the room. Floor plans, function logistics, table turnover—it’s all in your capable hands.
  • Uplifting the team. Coaching junior staff, managing feedback, and leading like the kind of Manager you’d want to work with.
  • Working with purpose. Whether helping a guest navigate the wine list or solving a mid-service hiccup, your presence sets the tone.

About the Venue

Located in a lively suburb near the CBD, this well-known venue is celebrated for its authentic dining, two-hour set-menu experiences, and constant buzz. On a typical Saturday night, more than 600 guests dine across two sittings. And the team? Solid. Many have been here for years because it simply feels like home.

Expect structure, systems that work, and a rhythm you’ll grow to love. There’s also room to move, grow, and be mentored by leadership who have walked the path themselves—from meat runner to manager.

What’s In It for You

  • Competitive salary + tips
  • Staff meals every shift + take-home food
  • A pathway for future progression with mentoring included
  • Culturally rich, supportive team with real camaraderie

What They’re Looking For

  • Assistant Managers ready to take the next step
  • Solid experience in fast-paced, high-volume venues
  • Cool head under pressure + strong team instincts
  • Strong wine and beverage knowledge
  • A leader who listens, mentors, and leads by doing

Why You’ll Love It Here

Because you’ll be valued. You’ll be supported. And you’ll be challenged in the best way possible. You’ll learn how to run a seriously busy venue while being surrounded by people who care about the guests and each other.

And when you head home, you’ll carry a sense of pride because not everyone can do what you just did.
