We are excited to represent our client, who is a global leader in premium food solutions for the transport industry for a role as Food Innovation & Product Development Manager, to elevate their product portfolio across Australia and beyond.
They are one of the world’s largest transport service providers, operating across multiple continents. They provide premium meals and snacks for high-end clients, working closely with leading manufacturers and maintaining excellence through a complex, high-precision supply chain.
The Role
As a core member of the Australian team, you will:
- Drive strategic innovation across food categories such as hot handheld snacks, premium cheeses, and bakery items.
- Lead the innovation pipeline, taking concepts from ideation to launch.
- Partner with internal teams and external manufacturers to deliver best-in-class products that meet diverse customer requirements.
- Ensure seamless project execution by managing timelines and critical paths.
- Champion the mobilisation of new products and ensure ongoing quality assurance through collaboration with the Technical team.
- Help expand innovation efforts into Asian markets as they continue to grow their global presence.
What You Bring
- A strong culinary background—preferably as a Chef—or significant food manufacturing experience.
- Experience in the transport catering industry is a plus.
- Proven ability to develop innovative products fit for mass production.
- Demonstrated success in project management and working cross-functionally.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a flair for innovation and trend-spotting.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A self-motivated, agile mindset capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
