In 2006 Geremy pivoted to recruitment and has grown that business to be recognised as the go-to team for hospitality recruitment in the NSW and Queensland markets. As an industry advocate Geremy is often called on to provide insights at conferences and in publications.
In 2020 when hospitality was all but shut down, Geremy doubled down and used Placed’s capabilities to help stabilise and rebuild the industry. His clear-eyed thinking encouraged business leaders to strategise their recruitment methodologies to achieve optimal service delivery and growth out of a period of great disruption.
Geremy sets the standard at Placed in how to connect businesses with talent by working closely with clients to comprehensively understand their recruitment needs and develop innovative sourcing strategies to support them. With clients ranging from small businesses to large multinationals, he tailors solutions that support the development and retention of high-performing teams, organisation wide.
Day-to-day Geremy focuses on executive and senior appointments at Placed while also mentoring his own team to ensure they are developing honest and insightful connections with the talent and clients for their mutual success.
Anytime outside of work is spent with his daughter adventure riding, camping and (of course) on the pans at home entertaining for family and friends.
