With strong year-round trade driven by tourism and loyal local support, this high-volume operation requires a confident, hands-on Venue Manager who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments. The Role

As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the business, leading a large and diverse team while ensuring the venue consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong operational discipline, commercial awareness, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 40–50 staff, including 4 Duty Managers.
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations across food, beverage, service, and events
  • Maintain strong financial control, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
  • Utilise your chef/kitchen experience to support menu development, food quality, consistency, and costing
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing leadership and service team
  • Ensure compliance with all WH&S, licensing, and food safety standards
  • Drive a positive workplace culture focused on accountability, professionalism, and guest satisfaction

About You

  • Proven experience managing large, high-volume hospitality venues
  • Essential: Previous chef or kitchen leadership experience
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with hands-on P&L responsibility
  • Confident people leader with experience managing multiple managers and departments
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about food, beverage, and delivering memorable guest experiences
