The venue boasts a state-of-the-art fit-out, requiring a Head Chef who can excel in a dynamic environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.

As Head Chef, you will design and deliver simple, thoughtful, and technically refined modern Italian and European dishes. This role requires strong organisational capability, clear leadership, and a genuine passion for cooking.

From developing the opening menu through to establishing systems and standards, you will lead a composed, high-performing kitchen team and guide daily service with confidence and consistency.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and costing the opening menu
  • Building relationships with suppliers
  • Hiring, rostering and training a small, capable brigade
  • Running services across lunch and dinner, 6 days a week
  • Managing prep systems, stock, compliance and kitchen structure
  • Controlling COGS and labour with precision
  • Working with FOH leadership to ensure flow and consistency

About You

You’re an experienced chef with a background in modern Italian and European cuisine. You enjoy building teams, creating dishes that are both thoughtful and satisfying, and leading a well-run kitchen where quality and consistency are everything.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience leading kitchens in upmarket dining or premium venues
  • Understands prep structure, ordering, and how to run a clean, efficient kitchen
  • Is passionate about Italian and European flavours and techniques
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment where collaboration matters
  • Brings warmth, focus, and steady leadership to the team
