Overview

  • Head Brewer role with visa and relocation support to Singapore
  • Excellence in craft brewing with strong hospitality focus
  • Hands-on operations with strategic vision

Only apply if you have Head Brewer experience and are willing to relocate to Singapore.

The Vision

A new premium brewery is launching in early 2026 in one of Singapore’s most strategic locations – directly adjacent to a major resort and casino that sees 19 million visitors annually. This isn’t just another craft brewery opening; it’s a purpose-built, Approx 200sqm brewing facility with 240,000L annual capacity, backed by significant investment and designed for both quality and scale.

The concept bridges craft brewing excellence with serious hospitality focus. You’ll be brewing everything from approachable lagers that capture 95% of the market to limited-edition collaborations that position the brand at the premium end. It’s about making exceptional beer accessible while building something genuinely innovative in Asia’s evolving craft scene.

The Role in Detail

As Head Brewer, you’ll own the entire brewing operation from recipe development through to customer engagement. This is a hands-on leadership position where technical excellence meets brand ambassadorship.

Brewing Operations

You’ll manage all aspects of production, including brewing, packaging, utilities management, and quality control. The setup includes both main production capability and a 200L pilot system for experimental batches and collaborations. You’ll work closely with the culinary team on beer and food pairings, developing recipes that complement the restaurant’s elevated dining experience.

Business Development

Beyond the brewhouse, you’ll contribute to strategic decisions around product lines, pricing, and market positioning. The partnership group brings deep hospitality expertise, brewing consultation, and commercial acumen – but they need someone who can drive the brewing business forward and identify growth opportunities.

Brand Representation

Singapore’s craft scene values authenticity and storytelling. You’ll regularly engage with customers, media, and industry peers, representing the brewery at events and building relationships that drive both immediate sales and long-term brand equity. This isn’t occasional PR work – it’s a core part of building the business.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Excellence

Five-plus years of commercial brewing experience with demonstrable progression in responsibility. Advanced brewing qualifications essential – IBD Diploma minimum, with preference for Master Brewer certification or relevant MSc. You understand both craft brewing artistry and commercial production realities.

Commercial Mindset

You grasp the economics of brewing – how capacity utilisation drives profitability, how ingredient sourcing affects margins, and how product mix impacts both cost and positioning. You’ve seen businesses succeed and struggle, and you understand what makes the difference.

Communication Skills

You can explain complex brewing concepts to curious customers, present to industry groups with confidence, and build genuine relationships with everyone from casual beer drinkers to serious enthusiasts. Singapore’s market rewards authenticity and expertise in equal measure.

Cultural Fit

The founding team values clear communication, systematic approaches, and mutual respect. They’re building something significant and want someone who shares that ambition while bringing their own expertise and perspective to the partnership.

The Opportunity Package

Financial Structure

Base salary range SGD 10,000-20,000 monthly, positioned according to experience and credentials. Five percent profit share from day one, paid quarterly when the business is profitable. After three years of strong performance, equity participation becomes available – structured to reward genuine business-building contribution.

Relocation Support

Full visa sponsorship and comprehensive relocation assistance. Healthcare coverage, annual leave entitlements, and professional development support. The partners understand that international moves require proper support and planning.

Career Development

This role offers genuine progression potential. If the brewery succeeds as projected, expansion beyond the flagship venue becomes likely – whether through additional locations, contract brewing, or regional distribution. The equity structure is designed to reward those who help build that growth.

Timeline and Next Steps

Construction and licensing are progressing toward an early 2026 opening. The ideal candidate would relocate in late 2025 or early 2026, allowing time to influence final setup decisions and develop opening procedures.
We’re looking for someone who sees this as more than a job change – someone ready to build something significant in one of Asia’s most dynamic markets. The brewing industry here is evolving rapidly, and this brewery is positioned to help lead that evolution.

Application Process

If this resonates with your career goals and brewing philosophy, we’d like to hear from you. Initial conversations will focus on technical background and cultural fit, followed by more detailed discussions about the business opportunity and relocation logistics.

This is the kind of opportunity that comes along rarely–the chance to shape a premium brewery from launch in a market full of potential. If you’re ready for that challenge, let’s talk.
