About the Role

We are seeking two Duty Managers to join a high-performing leadership team. One role will suit a seasoned operator stepping into a senior assistant management capacity, while the second offers a pathway for a developing leader eager to take the next step.

The ideal candidates will excel in dynamic environments, demonstrating a calm yet confident approach to leadership while taking full ownership of their responsibilities with professionalism and pride.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support all operational areas including bar, bistro, gaming, and event functions.
  • Oversee daily shift execution, ensuring service standards, team performance, and compliance.
  • Manage or support rostering, wage control, and team development in line with business goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations on major events and revenue initiatives.
  • Drive compliance across RSA, RSG, WHS, and broader regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to a positive, engaged, and accountable team culture.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in duty, shift, or assistant venue management within high-volume venues.
  • Comfortable managing a team in fast-paced service environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a people-first leadership approach.
  • Experience with (or eagerness to learn) roster cost management and basic P&L accountability.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and rotating rosters.

Role Conditions & Benefits

  • Salary range: $75K – $100K + S (Based on experience)
  • Full-time, approximately 38–45 hours per week
  • Two consecutive days off with rotating rosters
  • Free on-site parking and duty meals
