This is a hands-on leadership role focused entirely on bar operations. You’ll manage the bar team, develop a well-rounded drinks menu, and set the pace for consistent, high-quality service.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Bar Operations: Leading the day-to-day function of a busy, design-driven bar
- Team Leadership: Recruiting, training, and managing a high-performing bar team
- Product & Presentation: Working with suppliers and venue leadership to refine a distinctive beverage offering
- Service Standards: Ensuring every guest receives polished, friendly, and efficient service
As the venue continues to scale, this role provides the opportunity not only to expand and develop your team but also to shape standards and operations across multiple service points, giving you greater influence on the overall guest experience and the future direction of the venue.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running a smooth, high-volume bar operation during service
- Training and mentoring bartenders and bar backs
- Curating cocktail lists, seasonal offerings, and product selections
- Handling stock control, wastage, and supplier relationships
- Maintaining bar cleanliness, compliance, and RSA standards
- Upholding venue presentation and service protocols at all times

- Proven experience managing a busy, premium bar in a fast-paced environment
- Strong drinks knowledge across cocktails, spirits, wine, and craft beer
- Professional presence with a high level of personal presentation
- Calm under pressure with strong team leadership and communication skills
- Someone who thrives in guest-facing environments and leads by example
