Located just outside Parramatta, this is a venue that delivers on every front, with strong F&B trade, a well-developed entertainment calendar, and a layout that includes indoor/outdoor dining spaces, function room, and a large gaming area.
Entertainment plays a central role in the business. Weekly programming includes everything from trivia and poker to live sport, family activations and DJs on Saturday nights. The customer base is local, loyal, and expects consistency, which is why this leadership role is critical to the venue’s continued success.
The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned and self-assured leader to assume full responsibility for the operations of a high-profile, high-volume pub. It offers the chance to showcase your own distinctive approach to operational excellence and make a lasting impact on the venue’s ongoing success.
You’ll be responsible for the full spectrum of daily operations, food and beverage, gaming, events and customer experience and leading a large team of over 60, including a structured management group and a junior crew that thrives under direct, clear guidance.
This isn’t a role for someone who waits for things to happen. You’ll need to bring presence, pace and a high level of personal accountability. The expectation is that you’re on the floor, tuned into the rhythm of the venue, and leading from the front.
You’ll also work closely with the events and marketing lead to ensure the entertainment calendar continues to evolve. The venue has strong brand recognition, but there’s still room for fresh energy and direction from the right leader, someone who understands how to build momentum and keep it.
The Person
We’re looking for someone who leads with clarity and intent. You’re not afraid to make decisions, and your team knows exactly where they stand. You’re comfortable in fast-paced, multi-layered environments, and you understand the value of both structure and speed. You don’t micro-manage, but you do hold people to a high standard.
You’ve run venues of this scale before. You understand the balance of food, beverage, gaming, events and compliance. You know how to manage labour, drive revenue, and create an environment that feels focused and professional. This isn’t a stepping-stone role, it’s for someone who’s already been at this level and is ready to lead with confidence.
Candidates with a background in entertainment-focused venues or vibrant community-driven pubs will be viewed very favorably. In addition, possessing a strong understanding of the Western Sydney demographic or demonstrating the ability to quickly adapt and gain deep insights into the local community will be considered a significant advantage. Experience in tailoring offerings to suit diverse audiences will further strengthen your application.
