The Role
Seeking a Head of Events Chef who is attuned to current food trends, brings a high level of creativity to menu development, and possesses a solid foundation in Italian cuisine. This role requires not only strong leadership and commercial kitchen management skills but also a genuine passion for hands-on cooking and designing standout menus. The position reports directly to the Executive Chef and venue owners.
You’ll be responsible for leading and mentoring a dynamic kitchen team, which can vary in size from 3 to 15 chefs depending on the scale of each event.
As a Senior Chef (Head of Events), you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including culinary execution, team development, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Full accountability for running of the kitchen
- The ability to guide and train the team of chefs
- The ability to create, cost and produce menus that fit within the current price points with The Exec Chef’s guidance
- The ability to work with the Executive Team developing the business
- Comfortable with the administration and controlling costs
