About the Role

What You’ll Do
- Recruit & Lead Your Team: Hand-pick and train a team of talented chefs, building a positive, professional kitchen culture.
- Set Up for Success: Oversee the kitchen set-up, including equipment installation, initial stock orders, and everything needed for a smooth opening.
- Deliver Bold Flavors: Execute and refine a menu of American-inspired classics like smash burgers, crispy chicken, wing baskets, and crowd-pleasing sides.
- Keep it Running Smoothly: Maintain high standards of stock control, cleanliness, and team morale.
- Hands-On Leadership: Work 4 days on shift, with 1 dedicated admin day for planning, rostering, and staying ahead.
- Drive Consistency: Create systems that ensure every guest enjoys the same exceptional experience.
What Are They Looking For?

- Proven Leadership: At least 3 years as a Head Chef, with experience in recruiting and training teams.

- Strategic Mindset: A track record of managing stock, rosters, and budgets with precision.
- Community Connections: A strong network in Sydney’s chef scene is a big plus.
