The Restaurant

This is a beautiful, brand new, high-end Japanese restaurant in Sydney CBD. Operating only 6 days a week, this offers a great work-life balance and late starts. This restaurant is part of a growing and reputable hospitality group.

Easily accessible through public transport and some nearby parking.

The Role

You will need to be an experienced Snr Sous/Head Chef with a Japanese background in cooking. At least 4 years in a role like this or similar.

Michelin or Hatted experience in Japanese Cuisine is preferred!

You will have a small team working under you, managing daily preparation and service with you.

An extensive knowledge of all Japanese ingredients and techniques is ideal. You’ll also be involved in developing and testing new dishes with the seasonal changes.

Experience with Yakitori / Bar snacks + a la carte preferred.

The role is responsible for monitoring inventory and food costing along with managing a small kitchen team.
