Are you ready to lead with passion, drive, and creativity? Moama Bowling Club is looking for an exceptional leader and food-driven Executive Chef to inspire our culinary team, champion sustainability.

The Role

We’re looking for a Head Chef who’s connected to food, passionate about local produce, and ready to lead initiatives that elevate the dining experience. Whether it’s creating a thriving chef’s garden, building supplier partnerships, or championing sustainable practices, this is your chance to bring your vision to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire & Innovate: Lead menu development across three venues, showcasing your passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Sustainability Leadership: Drive initiatives such as kitchen gardens and supplier programs emphasising eco-conscious practices.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Be active in the kitchen, mentoring teams and setting a standard of excellence.
  • Commercial Focus: Manage budgets, cost control, and supplier negotiations, ensuring profitability without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate & Grow: Work closely with head chefs to nurture their talent and create cohesive, inspired teams.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Passionate About Produce: Someone who genuinely loves food and takes pride in creating dishes that celebrate exceptional ingredients.
  • Program Driver: A leader with experience in initiatives like kitchen gardens, supplier partnerships, or community engagement programs.
  • Hands-On & Inspirational: A chef who thrives in the kitchen and strategic discussions, inspiring respect and collaboration.
  • Commercially Savvy: Strong financial management experience with full P&L exposure and a clear focus on business growth.
  • Adaptable & Balanced: Able to embrace the diversity of our venues, from premium dining at Junction to casual charm at Ember and the Bistro.
