The Role
We’re seeking a strategic and innovative Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations across multiple F&B venues within a dynamic, premium hospitality environment. This is an exceptional opportunity for a culinary leader who thrives in fast-paced, multi-outlet settings and who enjoys mentoring teams while delivering consistency and fostering creativity.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading all culinary operations across three unique venues.
- Innovating and executing menus aligned with brand identity and guest preferences.
- Maintaining luxury standards of presentation, flavour, and consistency.
- Managing food and labour costs to optimise kitchen performance.
- Inspiring, mentoring, and developing a high-performing brigade.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with the GM and F&B leadership.
- Driving sustainability, seasonal sourcing, and local supplier relationships.
About You
You are an inspiring, hands-on leader with strong creative vision and commercial insight. You understand how to balance operational excellence with forward-thinking food concepts.
You bring:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Head Chef in a premium, high-volume setting, or a current Executive Chef looking for a sea change with a progressive group.
- Expertise in modern Australian, contemporary Italian, and upscale casual cuisines.
- Strong knowledge of multi-venue operations, or a large commercial business, and cost management.
- A passion for mentoring teams and driving a respectful, energetic kitchen culture.
- Experience in regional, especially North Queensland, will be highly regarded.
