Overview

  • Asst Restaurant Manager role with great salary and tips
  • Chance to progress within a supportive company – – well-known operator
  • Be part of a fantastic premium venue

Some restaurants hum with energy—you can feel it the moment you walk in. The team is in sync, the guests are happy, and the service runs like clockwork. That’s what this venue is all about.

Our client is on the lookout for an Asst Restaurant Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Someone who stays cool under pressure (because surprises always happen), leads with confidence, and isn’t afraid to jump in and get hands-on when needed.

This isn’t a sit-back-and-watch kind of role. It’s hands-on, full of momentum, and perfect for someone who loves the buzz of service and the camaraderie of a great team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading from the floor – setting the pace, making the calls, and keeping the team sharp.
  • Keeping service seamless – managing sections, troubleshooting, and making sure every guest walks away happy.
  • Being tech-savvy – rostering, POS systems, and the odd website tweak (nothing too fancy, but knowing your way around a spreadsheet helps).
  • Creating a great team culture – training, mentoring, and making sure everyone feels supported but also accountable.
  • Jumping in where needed – whether that’s working the pass, running food, or handling a tricky table with grace and charm.

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone who’s worked in high-energy, high-volume restaurants and knows how to keep up.
  • A natural leader—someone who earns respect by being in it with the team, not just overseeing from the sidelines.
  • Charisma, presence, and a problem-solving mindset—guests love you, staff trust you, and you handle challenges without breaking a sweat.
  • Someone who gets the tech side of hospitality—you don’t have to be an IT wizard, but rostering, POS, and basic admin shouldn’t scare you.
  • A hands-on, no-ego, let’s-get-it-done attitude.

What’s In It For You?

  • A workplace where hard work is valued and rewarded—we look after our people.
  • 4-day work week, $$$ +Tips + Perks
  • A high-performing, professional team—no drama, just good people who care about what they do.
  • Career growth—this isn’t a dead-end job. There’s plenty of room to step up.
  • A venue with a strong reputation, busy trade, and a buzzing atmosphere.

This is the kind of role where no two days are the same—but that’s what makes it exciting. If you’re the type of person who thrives in the rush, loves leading a team, and wants to be part of something great, we’d love to hear from you.
