The Company
This standalone restaurant operates within a large organisation. It’s a hands-on position in a well-established company that supports career growth and promotes work-life balance. The restaurant offers city views and a carefully curated menu featuring quality dishes, including items from a woodfire oven. The bar features a premium beverage selection, including signature cocktails and a diverse range of Australian and European wines.
The Role
An exciting and hands-on role to run the establishment’s high-volume rooftop cocktail bar and restaurant. A busy, big capacity venue that is extremely welcomed and well-received by the community. You can get creative, pitch new ideas to the Venue Manager, and get stuck into something super exciting for Summer. They are looking for someone who is front-of-house focused, has strong service skills, and has cocktail and wine knowledge.
You’ll be responsible for fostering strong team morale and improving staff performance, while maintaining a high standard of service. The venue is already operational but needs someone to step in and take charge to keep this stylish, high-end venue on track. The role includes an events component, though prior experience in events is not essential.
The Opportunity and Perks
We’re offering up to $80K + tips + super for strong hospitality leaders, depending on experience. This role is ideal for a Restaurant Manager or someone tired of 6am nightclub finishes and seeking a more structured and sustainable hospitality career.
The role offers a 5-week annual leave package, a maximum of 40–42 working hours per week, free parking, discounted gym access, free business attire, free meals, and more. The roster includes a balanced mix of days and nights, with midweek shifts finishing by 10pm. You’ll work alongside the Venue Manager, overseeing front-line staff daily in a workplace that values team culture, support, and career progression.
