The Role

This is the perfect role for a senior bar or assistant manager who wants to learn how to run the business. Your responsibilities cover:

  • Managing and nurturing 15 people in the FOH team
  • Collaborating with the head chef for symbiotic relationship between FOH and BOH
  • Establishing strategies to expand the functions business and long-term clients
  • Working with the marketing team on campaigns to increase revenue
  • Working with the bar manager on the product list
  • Supervise labour, schedules and customer service standards

This is a 5-day week role with 3 double shifts. There are no early starts or late nights. Best of all, the venue is closed on Sundays. The total package is up to $75K+Super.

Required Experience and Traits

You must be:

  • Confident and committed to work
  • A good leader with solid experience hiring and developing a team
  • A manager with experience working in a busy venue with a significant bar
  • A calm and collected person under any circumstances
  • A hands-on manager who can manage stakeholder and customer expectations
