This institution is changing the game in the local dining scene. It has a stunning fit-out and high-end fine dining background Chef. The overall property has seating for over 150 and a range of contemporary food offerings and wine.
The Restaurant Manager will be overseeing all operations for the Restaurant and Bar as well as assisting in refining the sequence of service and SOP’s etc.
This will require constant motivation and communication with the staff, as well as a flexible approach to adapt to a changing work environment. There is a strong emphasis of creating an engaged, down to earth and dynamic style of service.
The Restaurant Manager will be reporting to a highly experienced and dynamic F&B Manager, someone who is open and supportive to the staff. This is essentially a dual role of bar and floor so you’ll need to be able to lead from the front, setting the tone on the floor, as well as being able to work on strategy, driving ideas and maintaining standards.
Having a high quality and high volume Pub/Restaurant or Bar background is ideal, as the position requires a person who brings a professional approach to service and training.
The Restaurant Manager position will be ideal for someone looking to advance their career and harness their expertise within a different environment. You should have a wealth of experience in a variety of venues, be a person with strong mentoring skills and an innovative thinker.
Restaurant Management experience will be strongly desirable, also a strong interest and knowledge in beverages.
