Reporting to the GM, you’ll be responsible for all things hospitality service. Including recruitment, service standards, customer relations, training, supplier relations and financials reporting. It’s the day-to-day outlet and some events.
While there is plenty of support in the role, the expectation is that this person is very much a self-starter, someone who is very proactive. It’s a hands-on role so you’ll be expected to lead from the front and have lots of customer contact.
You’ll also be working closely with your team, mentoring and guiding them in achieving the goals and business objectives of the club. This role is all about taking this venue to the next level for professionalism and customer service.
Who we are looking for
You’ll have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. In addition and given the nature of this role, you will need to have had some experience running functions and events (weddings and the like) in the industry.
A down-to-earth leadership style and being a real people person is essential. It’s also very important that you are confident and comfortable working with corporate clients.
This role would suit someone with solid hotel or restaurant experience who is looking to find a new pathway within the industry, work somewhere with a better work/life balance and has a more localized feel.
Perks and Benefits
The salary will depend on your experience but will be between $80,000 to $90,000 pa depending on skills and experience.
Your week will cover 5 days, mainly Tues-Sat, a good amount of day shifts, 40 – 45 hours. If there are no events, you will be on a day shift.
