They are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. On Wednesday to Sunday, they serve inner, while on Wednesday to Sunday, they serve lunch. This venue is in a league of its own. The menu is degustation only, which is classic meets new world. The service is sleek, polished, professional, yet personable and warm. The wine list is never ending and the matching wine options, perfectly finish off each bite. Every element has been thought about with care and intent to please.

As the Restaurant Manager, you are to run the show while maintaining a first-class style of service. It’s all the bells and whistles of our much loved and lost, real fine dining experience, that you get to be at the heart of.
It’s about knowing what the customer wants and needs, before they even know. It’s training, leading and mentoring your equally passionate team to ensure the highest standards are met every time.
Essentially, you must have an excellent written and verbal communication skills. In addition, and given the nature of this role, you will need to have had strong experience in similar premium style restaurants.
You’ll also need to have a down-to-earth leadership style and be a people person. It is very important that you are confident and comfortable working with a large team and being able to motivate them.
The role is service driven, so you will be expected to get in there with the rest of the team and be quite hands on, as well as being admin savvy with rosters, cashing up, hiring and training staff and setting up SOP’S and sequences of service.
There is also an element of financials to the role, where you will be overseeing the forecasting, budgeting, labour costs and minor P&L’s, as well as daily cash up reports. These are skills you will already have or have had exposure to in other roles.
Complete autonomy in the role, so you’ll need to be highly organised and can jump right in without much direction. It’s an opportunity to take ownership of the venue with very little interference. Of course guidance is given but ultimately, it’s down to the restaurant manager.
Ability to run a very busy and fast paced restaurant, being prepared to step in when required is a must. Ideally, you’ll have a cool temperament while maintaining happy staff and customers.
Personality We are looking for that really warm, engaging and welcoming personality. You need to have the ability to make all guests feel comfortable and want to come back again and again.
This a very open role for anyone who has the right attitude and enthusiasm to be a success. You will naturally come from a background of high-end restaurant management with a focus on customer experience, looking for a job that offers a chance to work autonomously like it’s your own venue, as well as an opportunity for work-life balance.
Having a presence on the floor is where you find yourself most drawn to. Lead the team by example through your positive energy and stacks of confidence.
First of all, the tips are incredible and consistent, up to $800 a week.
Not only will you be working in one of the most lavish, well known and established and consistent venues in town, but you’ll be well rewarded for your efforts. Salary is $90K+ Super + Tips. Plus a work-life balance of less than 50 hours a week with two days off in a row.
