The Venue

Located in the Inner West, this now completed renovation has been years in the making and has people talking! It has been recently completed and is a tastefully and modern venue that covers Cafe, Restaurant, Bar, Sports Bar and of course gaming room with state of the art machines. It is a smaller style venue so you won’t be getting hammered by 1000’s of patrons. It is a quality and controlled environment where you can really focus your attention and get it right.

The Role 

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the venue, with a strong emphasis on service and managing the team.  This is a professional environment which offers the candidate the chance to work within a very unique space and learn off the savvy CEO.  You’ll also be responsible for supplier relations, compliance and managing costs.  The ideal candidate will have strong gaming knowledge and general pub background but also great ideas and across the latest trends and ideas for promotions.  This is a great role for someone who wants to have a say and an influence on a business.

Experience

Having positive energy and stacks of confidence is a must; someone who is a natural leader.  There will be a high level of responsibility for the position as this has just opened and they are about to ramp up the press and expectation around the venue.

Working with several other duty managers, a CEO and a good size FOH team will give you the support.  Experience in managing a similar size service-driven and structured venue is essential.  Having that care factor with guests from a community/local style pub would be desirable for this role.

This would be perfect for someone who is either a senior AM looking for that next step or a current Ops Manager wanting to work somewhere that’s got a bespoke personal fee, not part of a heavily standardized group.

Rewards

The salary range is up to a max of $100K + Super for the candidate with the right skills and experience. This role has 5 weeks of holidays. Ideally, the successful applicant will be groomed to step up into the CEO’s role in the not to distant future.
