It’s a mid-size group that has an outstanding reputation in the industry. They have an impressive track record for the longevity of its senior staff across its venues, with the previous person in this role having stepped up into a Venue Manager/GM position.

The Role

You will be a strong Assistant Manager or Duty Manager who wants to take the next step of their career, and establish themselves as a powerful and assertive operator. A role that will give you the experience to take the next steps into Operations and Business Management.

As Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the venue, with a strong emphasis on F&B, service and managing the team. There is a lot of people management in this role! You need to be able to connect with, drive and empower staff members to get the best out of them. It’s a strong staff base of hard workers with good relationships, and working with the team will be a large part of this role.

Customer focused, you’ll be helping run multiple facets of this business, overseeing restaurants, bars, reception, gaming. You’ll interact with lots of customers, lots of staff. It’s a challenging role but one that will help launch your career to the next level.

A positive, open attitude, ability to connect and drive staff. A high volume background is essential – as this is a Sydney institution – pumping, busy and multi faceted.

This would be perfect for someone who is either a Duty Manager or Assistant Manager looking for that next step.
