The Property

This is a classic locals pub with a twist. It has that warm & friendly family feel, but on the weekend’s, it hosts live acts and bringing out the 30 something crowd.

It has both locals and regular clientele base and is hugely popular.  It prides itself on its good quality food, warm /inviting service and a quality gaming area.

The Role

It’s a big venue but in essence, we are still looking for elements of that “classic pub landlord” – full of warm and hospitable charm, happy to sit down and chat with the locals in the sports bar on the quiets days while keeping a supportive and mentoring approach to the young and enthusiastic team.

Of course, the Pub Licensee role oversees the critical areas of the business, bar/bistro, kitchen, gaming and strong entertainment line up including DJ’s.  You will have all the usual GM responsibilities of running a multi-million-dollar business: compliance, stock control, budgets, forecasting and staffing.  You’ll have great support from head office as well as from the team, most have been there for many years.

Required Experience

This role is perfect for an experienced licensee, someone who is looking for a balance in a smaller, more local establishment. We are seeking a GM with substantial experience with a similar venue with quality offerings across F&B, gaming and experience with driving entertainment.

Importantly we are looking for a GM who can innovate and drive this already well-performing venue from the front and take it into the next phase.
