The culture is really one of the best things about it. Commercially, it’s strong brand-wise. The launch is going to be a large growth phase and they’re at the top of their game. Operations is the most important and the focus for this role. In a small growing business, it’s important that this person is flexible and while keeping their eye on the prize with the big projects and driving the macro elements of the business. Also being able to jump in and assist when the things come up. You need to know your way around a small food service business with production and retail.
Retail The owner of the business has been approached many times over the previous years to take over various sites. Being clear on the brand, customers and positioning in the market, he’s been very selective and waiting for the right opportunities. There’s a premium site which they have now found. The final stages of securing this would be the first of two or three this year ideally.
This operations manager role will be key in rolling out and overseeing these retail stores, so experience in retail would be preferable.
