This venue is a friendly restaurant/wine bar run by a successful owner. It has a real local vibe with lots of regulars and a long-standing team.
Primarily a wine bar/restaurant, it serves a mix of tapas and European style food. It has an exceptional wine list considered to be one of the best in the area.
This is a floor manager’s role and requires someone with a warm personality, someone who can feel at home within a small family-owned business. You’ll need the ability to charm regulars while connecting and supporting a very friendly front of the house team. You’ll have the chance to work closely with the owner and GM/Chef and be responsible for running shifts, client relations, staff training, reservations and cashing up. This is a hands-on role.
The Required Experience
- At least 2 years experience in management
- Has a hands on approach
- A team player who can lead by example
Ideally, you’ll be someone who is used to working in a similar quality small venue, who strives for that customer satisfaction and makes regulars feel like they’re at home. Excellent communication skills are essential, and a good wine knowledge would be an advantage.
