The Company

They are a well-known and respected high-end catering company focusing on high quality food and service based in Sydney. This is a company that is known for being one of the most food driven quality catering companies in Sydney and has some very high-end clients.

They are a steadily growing business with lots of opportunity for an ambitious Events, Operations and Logistics Manager. Large supportive team that are all striving for a common goal.

The Role

Main Focus within the role:
-Maintenance of the business premises and warehouse facilities
-Fleet management
-Hire of equipment for events
-Venue and supplier relationships
-License renewals
-Venue inductions

The head office is located in the East but you will be traveling out to all different venues across Sydney each day. No day is ever the same!

Type of Events

Given that the vast majority of their clientele are high net worth individuals, much of the work is sit down meals and canapés. Events are all prepped in the main kitchen and transported by van. Majority of work is repeat clients or annual events, corporate company events.

A lot of their events, such as weddings or corporate events are bespoke and very creative. Average size of events / canapés functions can be anything from 10 to 3000. Majority would be 30 to 150 pax on average.

Required Experience

This is a unique role that requires the successful candidate to be highly organised as well as being open to new possibilities and event curve balls. This role is perfect for a FOH expert or Chef who is ready to step away from the cooking/service side of things and be in a more hands off organisation and management role.

You’ll be a well-rounded and balanced individual, someone who can lead, inspire and motivate a team of casuals. A hospitality professional who genuinely enjoys being around good food and has cutting edge ideas to make things even better.

You will be working on average 40-45 hours. It is a 7-day operation but 2 days off a week is guaranteed.
