4 shifts a week at 9.5 hours, with breaks, working on a rotating three week roster. Alternating one week on days, one week on nights so you can get amazing work-life balance across the 4 shifts! Late close when you do the night shifts, but early finish on the weeks that you work days.

The Venue

An established and growing group on the North Shore is seeking a Senior Duty Manager to help lead the team at a diverse and pumping venue. The venue has a range of offerings, multiple bars, restaurants, live music, conference spaces and gaming rooms.

They’re looking for an enthusiastic and warm manager to join a strong management team and help lead their front-of-house staff. Offering great rewards, above market salary and an annual bonus!

The Role

As a Duty Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a team of staff and their delivery of amazing food and beverage, with a mix of shifts.

There’ll be a range of staff members you’ll be leading amongst a team of managers, from reception to bartenders, waiters and function teams. You’ll have strong support from other managers on shift, a switched on GM who’s excited to build his team, and the mentor leaders.


There is a great pay structure and stability as the group comes from the Club system. Salary is $87K + Super + 5 weeks annual leave a year built in + 40 hours / week. This is a company that values work-life balance for their staff. They work on rotating rosters and mixes of shifts.

Passion for great food and beverage is a must! You will be a people person who enjoys working with a large team, both having fellow managers to work together leading the staff, and being able to individually motivate the team and get them excited about working together.

Previous experience leading teams of staff is essential here. This would be perfect for someone who is either an experienced Duty Manager, or with a background in Operations because there is some gaming involved, so it’s desirable to have some gaming experience.
