The Property

This is a great venue that has “Many Faces”. It is a mix of clientele of white and blue collar workers, families, and locals in their 20s and older on a big night out or having fun on a Saturday night.

Understanding this mix of people and what they are all looking for has really helped their venues’ figures grow over the last two years.  We are looking for a manager that can continue this and take it up a notch.

The venue is in excellent condition. It has popular / very busy bars and restaurants.

The Role

You’ll take charge of the day-to-day running of the venue on your shift, with a strong emphasis on the bar and stock control. This is a professional environment that offers the candidate the chance to work with a very rewarding and progressive company.

You will play a key part in the motivation and development of staff, ensuring the smooth running of the venue and creating a great guest experience. Support will be provided from the Licensee and the rest of the team. Also, they will train you in all aspects of running a successful business.

Who we are looking for

This is a role for someone who has the right attitude and has come from a service background with a down-to-earth leadership style. Being an engaging, people person is essential for being successful in this role

Ideally, you will come from a large, high volume venue with experience across TAB, gaming and F&B. You will need to be hands-on and enjoy working in a busy, dynamic environment.

  • Proven experience leading and motivating large teams
  • Savvy with administration and technology
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Fantastic presentation and great communication skills.
  • The ability to think creatively and work autonomously

The company is willing to train and develop in specific areas but ideally, you will have experience managing a similarly large, service-driven and structured venue.

Required Experience

This role is perfect for an experienced operator, someone who is looking for a work-life balance in a smaller, more local establishment.  Plus point is coming from a strong gaming background. This is a key area for the business and one they are looking to expand over the next 12 months.

Knowledge with driving sales in the bar, bistro and working with a mixed clientele will also be highly advantageous.  A true hospitality background is ideal, someone who can lead from the front and grow the business with a sense of pride.

The salary range is $65-75K+S for the candidate with the right skills and experience.  You’ll also have a work-life balance with no doubles, only 5 straight shifts and a rotating roster, around 45-50 hours a week
