The Office is a non-pretentious, busy CBD venue that is close to the hustle and bustle of Circular Quay but manages to maintain a nice local feel. It’s a popular lunch spot for most of the offices in the area, with a large bistro serving up much-loved pub classics, a great sports bar, TAB and gaming room.
It’s going to be very hands-on. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the venue on your shift. Strong emphasis on rostering, training and stock control. This is a professional environment that offers the candidate the chance to work with a very rewarding and progressive company.
Your role plays a key part in the motivation and development of staff, ensuring the smooth running of the venue and creating a great guest experience.
Strong support will come from the Licensee and the rest of the team. Also, they will train you in all aspects of running a successful business.
This role is perfect for a Supervisor / Assistant Manager with experience in large multi-faceted venues. You will need to be hands-on and enjoy working in a busy, dynamic environment. Some experience with event operations and rostering for medium-large teams is ideal, as well as the following:
- Proven experience building, leading, managing, motivating and driving large teams to consistently reach targets
- Savvy with administration and technology
- Self-motivated and driven
- Fantastic presentation and great communication skills.
- The ability to think creatively and work autonomously
Your hours will be around 45 per week on a rotating roster. The venue is closed on Sunday’s and there is also the opportunity to have a weekend off every few weeks.
This is a rewarding group, known for looking after their own and they are offering from $61K up to $70K+S for the right skills and experience.
