As assistant manager, you will be predominantly floor based and working closely with your team, servicing a clientele with a focus on running the restaurant and bar. You will be overseeing and managing and also hosting and jumping in when required.
While there is plenty of support in this position, the expectation is that the assistant manager is very much hands-on and facing client’s day to day while still maintaining a strategic overview and direction.
You’ll be responsible for mentoring and guiding your team in achieving the service standards, goals and business objectives of the property.
Who we are looking for
First, we need someone with an excellent communication skills. Second, given the nature of this role, you will need to have had strong experience in the restaurant or hotel restaurant industry.
You need to have a down-to-earth leadership style and be a people person. It is very important that you are confident and comfortable working with their corporate clients.

A great roster with just 8 hours a shift and early finishes. At the moment, if you are on a late, you are out by 9.30-10pm.
