The Venue

A very stylish and cosy brand new wine bar is opening this November. It is located 10 minutes from Sydney and is close to bus stations and street parking. It is a 40-seater food driven venue and is designed for foodies and casual catch-ups.

It has a very chic kitchen with cosy booths and a long copper bar. The menu is of high-quality food and it has a strong drinks/wine list.

Food Style

The food will be modern and a mix of mostly Mediterranean/European cuisine. Keeping it simple and fresh, the owner will be making regular trips to the markets so you will have access to the freshest and the best produce.

You will also have the opportunity to change the menus regularly and play with the food.

The Team

The owners are smart, nice people and supportive. They are very passionate about the hospitality industry and love to promote good talent. This experience has come from working front of house at one of Sydney’s best-known restaurants.

The Chef has a very strong background and has won hats recently. He is keen to do it again. He is also a very nice guy and very passionate about food. He will be a great person to work with day to day.

What We Are Looking For

For this sous or junior sous chef role, we are looking for someone who:

• Comes from a fine dining/hatted background
• Is highly creative and loves to use in-season produce
• Is calm and organised in a busy environment
• Is determined to prove and establish themselves as a serious chef
