The Kitchen

It has a well-sized kitchen and has everything you need from combi & pizza ovens, grill, flat top, to walk in freezers and fridges and a well-sized bench space and pass area.

The team is consist of 5 to 6 people on the roster so this is very much a hands-on role.

The Head Chef has worked for the company for many years across all of the venues. He is a very down-to-earth chef and creates a good environment in the kitchen.

The Role

The Sous Chef will report directly to the Head Chef and manage this small and dedicated team in this inner-city pub.  You will write menus, contribute to new ideas, develop promotions and be very hands on.

You will get a  good amount of work-life balance with every Sunday off and every second weekend off. The hours are around 50-55 a week. The salary is up to $70k+Super if you’re the stellar chef they’re looking for.
