The Role

This is great for a current Jnr Sous seeking development or an experienced Sous looking for that step up.  It will reward the right person with a highly organised and professional team in an environment that encourages knowledge and a go-getter attitude.

You’ll have a large team to conduct and motivate, along with maintaining the high level of service expected from all the guests.  Essentially a hands on role, you’ll be expected to work closely with the team and run services. That said, for the most part of day-to-day will be organising overseen training and running the pass as opposed to being stuck on a section.

The Required Experience

This role requires a person with confidence in their own ability.  Previous experience working in high volume and good quality venues is essential.  Ideally, you’ll be someone who always remains calm in any situation and is a natural motivator.

You should have at least 1-3 years of experience at a management level.  Being able to meet the expectations of both the business and the customers is a pre-requisite.  This will suit a Chef who is career hungry and focused, someone who can display excellent “natural” leadership skills.

Hours and Rewards

You’ll be required to work a 5-day week, incorporating 2 doubles, fair working hours – no more than 45 a week, also one day shift (extra night off each week).
