The Venue

This is a very stylish and cosy brand new Wine Bar opening in November.  It is located 10 minutes from Sydney and close to parking. This new and stunning 40-seater food driven wine bar/restaurant is designed for foodies and casual catch-ups.

The cosy booths, long Copper Bar and open kitchen make up this chic bar.  It is going to be known as serving high-quality food and having a strong drinks/wine list.

Food Style

The food will be modern with a mix of mostly Mediterranean/European cuisine. The offerings will be simple, fresh and absolutely delectable. The owner will be making regular trips to the markets so you will have access to the freshest and the best produce.

You will also have the opportunity to change the menus regularly and play with the food.

The Team

The owners are smart, nice people and supportive. They are very passionate about the hospitality industry and love to promote good talent. Their experience comes from working front of house at one of Sydney’s best-known restaurants.

The Role

As head chef/step-up sous chef, you need to be someone who:

• Comes from a fine dining/hatted background
• Is highly creative and loves to use in-season produce
• Knows how to mentor or train kitchen staff
• Leads by example and takes charge
• Is calm and organised in a busy environment
• Is determined to prove and establish themselves as a serious chef

The salary on offer is up to $85k+Super. As a bonus, everyone gets an even share of the tips.
