The Role

This is a standout pastry position, working with one of the best hospitality providers in Sydney and an inspiring group executive chef. This is the kind of role that will remind you why you wanted to be in the kitchen in the first place.

A perfect role for a super creative pastry chef, you will be hands-on and love leading your team from the front. Some of the products that the pastry kitchen put out are really quite amazing in terms of the playfulness and creativity. You will need to be a self-starter, have a proven, stable work history running sections and managing a team of junior pastry chefs, ensuring their development and success.

The Set-Up

With an ever popular and growing concept, this role encompasses two kitchens where you will be responsible for the pastry offering and mentoring both sets of teams.

You will have all the latest gadgets and toys in the kitchens to be creative and the support from a great executive chef to ensure your success. The teams and structure are already there and running smoothly, so the real focus will be on refining the offering, mentoring and driving the creativity.

We are looking for somebody who is really strong as a pastry chef technically and who can demonstrate a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the craft.
