The Restaurant

This is a very well known and popular restaurant with a high-end local clientele. It seats about 100 on regular days and turns to about 150 on a busy day. The property is open for breakfast and lunch.

The Team

This role reports to the head chef who is a very down-to-earth person, and the owner of the restaurant is someone who is big on empowerment and supporting his people. He comes from a big hospitality background and encourages an easy going but professional vibe.

There are approximately 7-8 chefs on each busy shift, including a barista, 4/5 floor staff, 1 dishwasher and 3 chefs.

The Role

As a breakfast chef, the role is very satisfying as you will be making and learning how to make everything in house. You will be working with a great and passionate team. A lot of support from the head chef and owner. There are 2-3 breakfast chefs on the team. Strong skills with cooking eggs is a must!

The client is basically looking for a chef that is like minded, passionate about cooking and likes to have a good laugh in the kitchen.
