This is a premium dining and entertainment Hub in South-West Sydney. With stunning fit-outs for the outlets throughout the whole venue, it is no surprise that they are the market leaders and a foodie destination for the South.
With a new pizza kitchen set to open and a brand-new wood-fired oven coming directly from Italy, we are looking for an experienced and talented pizza chef to head up the outlet.
A brand new wood-fired pizza oven with gas-assist that turns out perfect pizzas in 2-3 minutes requires a chef who can treat her with the proper care and who can demonstrate the required respect for this exceptional craft. This is an important position within a standout kitchen team and there is a direct pathway into a management role for the right chef!
A passionate and experienced pizza chef is required for running day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Making and preparing all toppings
- Using and maintaining pizza ovens
- Monitoring prep and stock levels
- Having a creative input to assist the chef with menus
The right candidate will have experience with high volume, quick turn over and be highly organised.
You will also be mentored by a well-known and high profile Chef, teaching you about everything from cooking skills, people management and how to run the numbers and the actual business side of things.
As an indication, you will be looking at a salary of between $65K+S and $72K+S depending on experience and would generally be looking at a max of 40 hours a week and 5 weeks holiday!
