The venue operates 7 days a week, with Friday-Sunday being the busiest times. The team consists of 17 chefs, and most of the senior chefs are very stable and can offer that extra forte in the kitchen. The food is generally good pub classics with an American twist.
This is a major role and the head chef is expected to keep calm and remain level-headed even when the pressure is high. You will be producing food for the bistro and functions from one large kitchen. Aside from overseeing your team, you also need to be hands on, that is cooking and on the pass to ensure efficient and consistent services.
We are looking for someone to bring a little more fun and direction in the kitchen to match the energy of the Venue. Ideally, you must be naturally a people person and enjoy mentoring a team. You need to be someone who loves cooking, keeps up with the trends and experiments in the kitchen.
What the client is looking for is someone who

• likes being hands-on and getting amongst it in the kitchen
You will be working on average 50-55 hours a week. For the right candidate, the salary on offer is up to $100K.
