- Have the chance to create and be creative with the menu
- A highly rated and well-known venue
- A supportive company
This venue in Sydney’s West exudes cool and vibrancy. It is a busy community pub serving a lot of people on a daily basis. It has multiple bars and a pumping bistro. Because they are focused on providing good quality, delicious pub food to everyone, the ratings are very high and the locals love them.
This is the flagship venue for the pub group. The group has been known to be very supportive of their people and has created a very enjoyable culture. We always love to work with this company.
The venue operates the whole week, with Fridays and Sundays as the busiest days. The team is made up of 17 members and most of the senior chefs are very stable and can offer that extra forte in the kitchen. You will be working in a large kitchen and the food that comes out of the kitchen is basically good pub classics with an American twist here and there.
The role of head chef takes on a big responsibility. Aside from your expertise, you need to show that you can remain calm and level headed even under pressure. You do not only need to manage your team but are also expected to be hands on – cooking and on the pass ensuring efficient and consistent service.
The head chef that we’re looking for needs to bring a little more fun and direction in the kitchen as this venue is full of energy. You must be a people person and are good in mentoring. Of course, you need to love cooking, keep up with the trends, and experiment in the kitchen to offer new and exciting addition.
