The Company is a successful group of quality hotels. As a part of their rapid growth and transformation, they are seeking a switched on Head Chef to run one of their kitchens in North Sydney.
Reporting to the switched-on Group Executive Chef, the Head Chef will oversee a team in this pub in North Sydney. Your new role will involve you being very hands on in the kitchen, managing the team, writing menus, contributing new ideas, some ordering and stocktaking, creating amazing dishes and coming up with new ideas for promotions.
The hours are around 50 per week and will consist of 3 Doubles and 2 Singles. You will enjoy 2 days off in a row.
This is a role you can really add your flair to doing the classics with your own version and twist to. Your ideas will be valued here and your continuous development will be supported by the Exec Chef.
You may be in a Sous Chef role in a similar environment ready to take that next step or an experienced Head Chef looking for a change and a chance to be a part of a progressive company. You will have experience in a high volume ALC restaurant or Pub and you will be up to speed with what food is happening in the industry. Naturally you will be a great communicator and leader.
You will have a background preferably in modern Australian food, experience cooking good quality meats, be up to date with current trends and be able to demonstrate your leadership abilities. Pub experience will be highly regarded.
