The Property

A stylish and funky venue that offers a new multi-million dollar total refurbishment. A casual but clean and modern venue.

This is one venue inside a larger (privately owned business) property, its a strong concept and a symbiotic relationship between the two.

The Role

This is a Head Chef role that requires hands-on leadership to run this business with a team of three. Needless to say it’s very hands-on. Having a detailed eye and fun and open approach as you will have input in every aspect.

Of course, you’ll be giving ideas and feedback with your ideas for specials and functions as the business grows again as it bounces back after Covid. Is a really cool venue with lots of variety and product you can really get excited about.

All the usual bits of running a kitchen will be there and its, of course, hands-on but we really want someone who can get excited and work with the Venue Manager to build the business. We are really looking someone that can drive the business to create a buzz and pass on some of that enthusiasm.

The Hours


As a guide looking at 3 singles, likely days either 10-4 or 10-5pm dependant on the day and 2 doubles 10-9 pm with a break.

Background

Coming from a similar venue will be preferred with experience in Italian cuisine. You will have small to medium size team so being a solid proven leader is critical.
