The Club

Renovation just finished recently but there will be more to come!  It’s a fresh, modern fit-out to this club. The large dining room is being transformed into a state-of-the-art, contemporary restaurant.

This well-known club is one of the best in the area – offering clientele a number of dining and entertainment options as well as great conference and event facilities. 

The Role

The Demi or Chef De Partie role is newly created as they are busy and getting busier! If you have the willingness to learn and develop, you might just be the person we’re looking for.

You will be working in the varied and very busy outlets of the club, from busy bistro to café to upmarket functions. You will be moving around to develop your skills and get good at all areas.

Plus, all the usual duties and responsibilities will apply including:

  • Hands-on cooking and running section
  • Making sure hygiene standards are kept and maintained
  • Overseeing the Chefs and making sure that they are on track for service
  • Training of junior staff

Hours and Rewards

The demi or chef de partie will be doing 45 to 50 hours a week and looking at a salary of up to $65K+S depending on experience. You will also get 5 weeks holiday’s annual leave.
