The Venue

This venue is the crown jewel in the company and their breeding ground to train future licensees for other venues. If you are serious about wanting to take the next step in your management career,  this is the venue for you. It’s a busy, pumping, modern, F&B driven venue and business has been booming for decades.

It has multiple levels with stunning views of the Sydney Harbour and mix offering but is all about the food and bev. Diverse offering in terms of a locals sports bar, a stunning rooftop, event spaces, outdoor seating. It’s got it all. There’s a small gaming room and a TAB, so some gaming experience is desirable but this venue is all about great modern pub food and pumping bars.


Salary range is $70-$80K+S for the candidate with the right skills and experience. This company takes work-life balance seriously so no doubles getting smashed with extra shifts, etc. without OT pay. The pub closes at midnight at the latest so no lates as well.

This venue has a fantastic GM who’s down to earth and has a relaxed vibe, but is a completely professional and comes in and smashes it by leading from the front. He is hands on and loves to mentor managers and give exposure to managers on the business and financial side, so you learn how to run the venue. The GM themselves started in the company in this role and has climbed up, working as Licensee at their other venues and now running their flagship.

The Role

Working as a Pub Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the venue, with a strong emphasis on F&B, service and managing the team. This is a professional environment that offers the candidate the chance to work within a unique space and learn off a business savvy GM. You will get the opportunity to learn the ropes of the business while leading a large group of enthusiastic and motivated staff.

This role would be perfect for a Duty Manager or Assistant Manager who’s worked in pubs, restaurants or bars and wants to work for a group who are serious about their mentoring and training.
